Welcome!
Hello everyone! My name is Nikolai, and I’m a physicist.
My research interests lie in the field of ultrafast optomagnetism. On this website, you’ll find my publications, projects, and information about how my research in laser magnetism control contributes to the development of spintronics. I also share my course on Micromagnetics and helpful tips for young scientists on lab work and scientific writing.

Video-course Micromagnetics
Here you can watch my course on Micromagnetism (in Russian currently).
During my research and teaching activity, I encountered a drastic shortage of Russian-language material on micromagnetic modeling. In this course, I decided to compile and share the theory and practice I used myself. Enjoy and share with your friends and colleagues!
To help a fellow scientist
I’ve also collected life hacks and tips on how to make your life in the lab easier, write articles more effectively and efficiently, and simply useful links to help in your research work.
